We are very happy to be able to provide classes for dedicated aged-group and language ability. This is what you need to know when booking your classes:

Children with Spanish background (either mum, dad, nanny or childminder speaks Spanish at home) and they are able to understand Spanish although not speaking much. We welcome them to try our intermediate/advanced classes. We mainly speak Spanish at this class as the best immersion opportunity.

My child is a beginner and is interested in the language or I am very happy for my child to start learning Spanish as a second language. They might know the numbers, the colours and basic vocabulary. We welcome them to try our beginners classes. We speak Spanish and English at this class.

If you are an adult wanting to join the classes, please see the classes available and feel free to try the beginners class, once you try you can discuss with the teacher if the class is suitable or if another class is recommended. 

Once you attend your trial classes you are welcome to book for the remaining classes or receive advise from the teacher for your best class. If you don't heard from us please email us and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We believe consistency is a key when learning a second language, therefore we do not offer PAYG options. The more opportunities we provide for children to be exposed to the target language the more learning opportunities for them.

Our Weekdays and Saturday classes run during term time, holiday camps run during some days of the school holidays (please check our holiday camps available for more info)

Parents are not permitted to take part due to child protection and health and safety policies. However, Bebitos, Chiquititos and Super Chiquititos sessions children must be accompanied by their parents.

We offer 3 consecutive weeks trial before you commit to the full term. Prices vary between locations, please visit your nearest location for prices here

Terms and conditions for Spanish classes are as follows:

• Classes start and finish promptly on time

• We expect children to show respect for each other and staff at all times

• Fees are due before the first session of every term

• For drop-in pupils fees are due before the class starts

• Unfortunately, no refunds can be made for missed sessions

• We reserve the right to change fees/term dates and class times. However, we aim to keep changes to a minimal and inform as soon as possible

• For health and safety reasons, food is not allowed in our sessions

• Children are welcome to bring a bottle of water (no fizzy drinks or juice, please)

• Teaching might involve physical contact

• Copy of DBS Certificates are available upon request

• We do not accept the responsibility of any items lost or stolen, although anything we find will be placed in our Lost Property box at our Registration desk

• It is the parents/guardian’s responsibility to inform El Recreo of any medical conditions we need to be aware of

• For the safeguarding of other kids, parents are not allowed in the session itself

Yes! we offer classes for children in KS3 and KS4, we also offer boot camps for exam preparation during school holidays. he purpose of this programme is to provide students with a range of skills including the general aspects of the language including grammatical and the relationship between spelling and sounds. This will be taught through listening, reading, speaking and writing interventions. Exam papers, bootcamps, group and private classes.
