An incredible book that allows my 6-year-old daughter, Lucía, to learn three skills at the same time
She feels very proud to speak both Spanish and English, and this book helps her understand her favourite school subject in both languages. On top of that, the character, Cirilo, makes the experience even more special for her,i t’s like a treasure! We love this book and spend more than an hour each day not only learning but also sharing quality time together. The fact that it includes illustrations for colouring makes it even better.

What really caught my attention is that it seems like a complete book that covers the curriculum for the early year foundation!
I love this book published by El recreo en Español. We all know that Maths is a universal language, and learning it while our children are learning Spanish seems wonderful to me. I found that this book can help my daughter develop her motor skills, by tracing numbers and colouring. I also found interesting information about Latin American culture in some pages. As a Spanish teacher at El recreo and classroom assistant at Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School, I recommend it to all parents who want their child to learn or improve not only math but also Spanish.
